               changmin still isn’t quite sure what to do with his new charge. he’d made the deal decades prior, he hadn’t actually expected them to deliver. and yet there’s been this stranger in his home for the last five days. changmin’s never wanted company, he’s been content to live alone with just his cat for company. ❝ what exactly do they expect me to do with you...? ❞

     “you’re late.” parker glances up from where he’s curled upon couch, expectant gaze on the archway where he knows the other will be walking through ; the comings and goings of the poor guy cursed to be a familiar are, largely, uninteresting to the witch, as he’s often swamped with orders and self-appointed tasks to pay much mind. but it did stoke concern when the clock ticked closer to midnight and still there had been no sign of the other.

     “i know it’s still a little cold but let’s go get ice cream !” arms cling to his friend’s arm and tug insistently, an eagerness brightening features and pulling lips into a broad grin ; though he’s not known for having such a strong sweet tooth, his favorite ice cream shop is selling their ice cream at half-off price, and hojin can’t pass up the opportunity for cheap sweets.

               it had taken a lot of convincing, but somehow yongjoo had managed to talk changho into sending him as lucky charm’s competitor in... some survival show that he doesn’t remember the name of, when it was supposed to be jiho going instead. it’s been almost a year since he performed last, and he’s pretty sure he’s going to get eliminated in the first round, but hey, at least it gets lucky charm’s name out there. and at the very least, he gets to know a few more names in the industry. which is exactly his intention when he bounds up to one of the other contestants, a grin on his face as he says, ❝ nice to meet you, hyung! i’m kim yongjoo. ❞

               things had been going so well for yongjoo. he’s clean, his debt’s been written off, he’s pretty sure he’s slowly worming his way into luna’s heart. so why, then, is he sat in the dark with a pout on his lips and tears sliding down his cheeks? because everything isn’t going fine. sure, he’s clean and he doesn’t owe the mafia anything anymore, but a routine visit to see luna had resulted in the teen getting his heart stomped on. forgive him if he wants to mope for a few hours, away from the prying eyes of his members.
