So I know that one line about never wanting Yuri to retire is Victor saying he want to stay by Yuri’s side but, does Victor really know that Yuri wants to actually retire after the GPF? I can’t remember if he told him or not.

i dont think yuuri actually wants to retire after the GPF but he feels like it will be his last season bc he thinks hes getting too old for it

like what i got more was that yuuri thought viktor only wnated to coach him for this season and then would leave whether yuuri continued skating or not

so like. yuuris saying “will you keep coaching me until i retire” because he feels like thats almost more than he can ask for bc he doesnt seem to realise that viktor wants to stay with him forever yuuri u iDIOT
