Lontalius x CutMyLips - “Mooncatch”

This is really something. On their first collaboration for Ryan Hemsworth's Secret Songs platform, Lontalius and Cut My Lips connect for a master class in finding the sweet spot between late ’90s/early 2000s style R&B and club-ready future music. As a vocalist, Lontalius prides himself on his melodies, and these are some of this best vocal melodies. Coupled with the relatability of his lyric writing and CutMyLips’ shimmering piano-led beatscape, it's one of the most assured and memorable songs I've heard in recent months.
