Can we look for the nuances, those funny grey areas, and embrace the feeling of “its complicated”? WEATHER REPORT - KNIGHT OF CUPS. ⠀ ⠀ Today is for following our whimsy! What would it be like to live as if smelling the roses was the most important thing? We wouldn’t get much done, but we’d probably have a great time wearing impractical things and writing unselfconsciously terrible poetry! ⠀ ⠀ Let that be your inspiration today. Make weird art. Choose something because it’s beautiful. Make a declaration of love. Bail on anything that’s a total drag, and go looking for something more inspiring. Whisper your lover’s name to the moon. WEATHER REPORT - XVIII THE MOON. ⠀ ⠀ Ooh, I love it when the tarot says it’s time to get WEIRD! The Moon is a card of deep strangeness, dreams, the unconscious, our animal instincts... it’s a landscape with soft edges, where binaries dissolve, identities shift, and shadowy corners hide unknown occupants. It can be fun, but a little freaky, too!⠀ ⠀ Today isn’t the day for being totally sure about things. It’s not a great time for trying to get things done in a linear, practical way. The Moon is all water, baby, so today, we flow. ⠀ ⠀ Give your dreams some serious attention. Draw some tarot cards, but don’t expect a clean cut answer. WEATHER REPORT - FIVE OF CUPS. ⠀ ⠀ The tarot’s fives are so interesting to me. They contain challenge and blockage, but they also offer us the potential for a pivot point, the opportunity to learn from challenges without denying how difficult they are. Philosophically and numerologically, they’re the midpoint between two extremes, a place of both this and that. ⠀ ⠀ The Five of Cups gives us a model for feeling our feelings without dwelling or getting bogged down. It can be a slippery thing, to pin down a way to be in the sea of our emotions without losing sight of the shore. ⠀ ⠀ Today, try to find your own balance with that, whatever it looks like to you. Grieve if you need to grieve, cry if tears bubble up, and hold as well the knowledge that there’s somewhere further to go from here.
