can I just say!! what happened to the fucking lace bralette movement from like 2015-2016. can we pls pls pls bring it back!!
i'm talking no padding. no lining, no wire. it was a movement. it was a phenomenon. i used to read articles from women talking about how they were completely switching to lace bralettes because they were so freeing.
and the fashion!! people used to walk around with their lace bralettes out for fashion! not peakaboo lace over the top of a cami. THEY WERE FULLY OUT. in every type of tank top you could imagine. especially the thin, oversized ones.
this shit had me in a chokehold. they were everywhere. justice was selling lace bralettes and i convinced my mom to get me one. i was feeling myself under my hoodies at school at like 12 years old. i continued buying lace bralettes for years because of what i saw in 2016.
whenever people talk about older fashion styles, i never ever ever see anyone talk about the lace bralettes!! before people were walking in sports bras and stuff, they were walking around in lace bralettes HELLOO-
it was MEANT to be shown on top of being comfortable because it's pretty and flattering!! <33333
