Idea: Vampire c!Dream but he can also hear c!Tommy's heartbeat when he's close by :) And I was also thinking that maybe Tommy's blood might have a slightly different taste depending on if he's afraid or not bc of adrenaline and all the fight-or-flight brain chemicals that would be in it- it would probably be very subtle, but Dream would certainly pick up on it :) :) :)

What if the closer Vampire c!Dream comes to c!Tommy, the louder the boy's heartbeat gets? :) Imagine c!Dream looking for c!Tommy in c!Techno's cabin, like in canon, he's told the boy isn't here, but he can hear c!Tommy's rapid heartbeat, quickening and getting louder the longer he's hiding from him... because he knows he can't hide forever due to this ability :)
Or imagine a soft moment between c!Prime: c!Tommy's head is resting on his owner's lap, while the latter is caressing his hair greedily, reaching every favourite spot of his, as if he was petting a needy dog. The more affection the boy receives, the louder and faster his heartbeat gets. It's a confirmation that he's his owner's- after all, no one but Him is capable of eliciting such a vivid reaction :)
Yesss, I love it so much, and it makes a lot of sense! I think c!Dream particularly appreciates the taste of c!Tommy's blood when he's terrified; perhaps it's even sweeter than usual and he can't get enough of it... So, he takes advantage of his little bloodbag's panicked state to get more of it.
If c!Dream managed to catch c!Tommy diring the chase in Logsted, I imagine that the first thing he did was feed on him to appreciate the moment of his triumph more, taste his sweet blood he can't get enough of, as well as make him weaker, so that he didn't try to run away while they were on their way home :)
