The Realms have changed in her absence. The seat of the water god had been filled, and so, it seems, of the moon goddess. She feels...complicated. "...I've only recently awoken MYSELF." The light goddess admits to her guest. Yinlin brought tea, and left again, and she spends a moment watching the steam rise from the cups idly, thinking. Mount Guyao looks the same as it had, nearly five hundred thousand years ago - if one ignored the foliage and the dust and the different generations of animal spirits that now lived here. It shouldn't be strange. It's all ancient gods do - sleep and wake, sleep and wake, cycling as the fate of the universe demands. But Zuti feels a prickle of underlying incongruence. Something HAPPENED, while she slept. Something must have fallen out of sync with what she had planned, even if she cannot put her finger on it.
"...Things are much changed than they have been." For the better. She smiles a little sheepishly. "...I HAD prepared a gift for the Moon Goddess, when she was eventually born, but..." But, she had been preparing for the BIRTH of a god, and, like the rattle drum she had prepared for the water god, it may no longer be appropriate. "...Well, I hope you won't mind staying a while longer, while Yinlin goes through the treasure room. It's been so long since we've been back here."
