There are times where Arashi grows bored enough to wander to the furthest reaches of the Fields of Mourning where sometimes Cerberus is eager to play or is simply napping. Both options are fun whether or not he's been consumed by the shades of despair, though the shades themselves still set Arashi on edge. He wants to shoo them away—sometimes, they try to latch onto Arashi, but there's nothing there to latch onto—but they just drift back to Cerberus, cloying and awful.
So Arashi keeps coming back when he can to try wrest the little parasites off, but this time Cerberus flops a massive paw on him as if to say to leave it be then rests the middle head atop Arashi, and essentially Arashi is stuck under Cerberus for an embarrassingly long amount of time—if he even can feel embarrassment—until Cerberus wakes again.
Which, apparently, doesn't happen for a while. Even when Melinoë happens upon the scene, panting from whatever combat she's just been through, and brimming with absolute power.
Arashi tries to wave at her, but his arms are also pinned under the snoozing Cerberus, and so he settles with a forlorn look. "I know right?" he whines out, more-so referring to the fact that he's stuck—completely oblivious to the real reason to her words—and tries to slip out from the weight to no avail. "I'm so bored but I also don't wanna wake him. Last time I woke him up, he kept trying to make me give him ear scratches for at least a day straight!"
