7: Romantic Kiss

Maybe you had one too many drinks today, but hey it was your first party at your new hive with your pals and like hell if you cared! You were all having a good time and that’s all that mattered.

But, as the sun began to rise, your buddies slowly started to leave, one by one. But Putzie, for whatever reason, decided to stick around after everyone else left. He said he wanted to help you clean up, the least he could do after helping you trash it in the first place.

And that, that really got to you. You place a hand on his shoulder, to steady yourself mainly but also for affect and look him in the eye.

"Putz… Rodger… Man you really know how to make a guy feel good, y’know that? ‘Course ya do, ‘course ya do… All them laughs you just steal outta folks, s’real tops a you."

You think you’re tearing up, but you’re not quite sure at this point. And he’s just smiling at you and nodding along to whatever the hell was coming out of your mouth. Then he lean over and press your lips to his. It’s not a sloppy kiss, surprisingly, but nice and gentle, a grateful kiss. You pull back, laugh high and loud, then pass out against his shoulder.
