I agree, some ship Aroace characters to ignore their sexuality or hide behind “Some Aroaces date” cause Allos are uncomfortable with someone having little-to-no romantic/sexual feelings. Some are shipping out of Aphobia, but some are shipping while ALSO being Aroace, that’s also true. If we gatekeep shipping said character, we also gatekeep Aspecs that relate to her, project their own experience, have their own interpretations, & just want to have fun with her. This blog is for fans to send headcanons & canons for characters, & I don’t always have the same HC’s as them. I don’t personally HC her as Aroace Straight. I know she’s canonically Aroace. I’ve been a TOH fan since 2020. I was active in the fandom when her sexuality was revealed, so this isn’t news to me. I was & still am happy she’s Aroace. I know some are upset with it, but that’s a minority. I don’t think the majority fans are Aphobic Allos. IDK who sent the request & neither do you. I won’t make assumptions about them. I believe in love for all Queers. Queers with common & uncommon labels, masculine/feminine/androgynous presenting, confusing/contradictory labels, Queers of all races, cultures, religions, ages, bodies, & abilities. They’ll always have my love, acceptance, respect, & support. It’s my belief that you’re either for ALL Queers, or NONE. Queerness isn’t a club that can exclude others. Queer people stick together as a community that protects & stands up for each other. Queer people will play with Queer characters however they want. INCLUDING Aspecs. Aspecs will also play with those characters however. Say what you want about Allos shipping Aroaces. I get what you mean. I know it can feel like WLW fetishized by men or MLM fetishized by women. I get that, even if I don’t fully agree with all you’re saying. Just like Allos will ship Aspec characters, Aspecs will also ship them if they want. You’re not the only Aspec. Aspecs aren’t a hive-mind. Not every Aspec will agree with you. Stop trying to speak above your community. You’re not speaking for Aspecs. You’re speaking THROUGH them. It’s great that she’s Aroace. She’ll always be 1 of my favorite Aspecs with the other little rep. The majority agrees. The minority that hate it are the ones that you’re focused on & seeing everyone else as. Focus on real Aphobes. NOT Queer people that may also be Aspec. HCing her as strict Allo IS Aphobia. NOT HCing her as Aroace PLUS something else. It’s GENUINELY harmful to say that it’s bad to give an Aroace character an added sexuality. That person may also be Aroace, either with another orientation or not. Aroaces can just be that. Aroaces can ALSO be Lesbian, Gay, Bi, etc. They can ALSO be Straight. It’s not fair to say “She’s Aroace not Straight”. She’s not Allo in the post. She’s requested as Aroace & Straight. NOT just Straight. She’s not being portrayed as AlloHet. You see “Straight”, & you stop seeing anything else. Because “Straights don’t belong in Queer spaces” EVEN IF STRAIGHT PEOPLE CAN ALSO BE QUEER. Aspec/Trans/Intersex Hets, QueerHets will ALWAYS be just as welcomed here as any other Queer. Stop invalidating your community if they happen to also be Het. That IS Queerphobic. Don’t use “As an Aroace myself” to justify harmful rhetoric against other Queers. Not everything has to start with “As a…myself”, YOU DON’T SPEAK FOR EVERYONE. There will be Aspecs that agree with you. There will also be Aspecs that don’t. See our Queer family as allies & not as enemies. I’m Aroace. I don’t need anyone to tell ME what Aphobia is. I don’t know if I need an Aroace flag all over my blog, put it in my name, & say it in everything I post. I shouldn’t have to say that in case I’m not seen as a valid member of this “club” or in fear that I’ll be accused of being something I’m not. Maybe I’m sensitive, but I don’t like the implications made about me. We don’t know each other. I’m sorry I got carried away with this, but I don’t think anything said here was in real good faith or respect for me. Everyone, have a good day/night. You once did a comic about Lilith realizing she went back in time and punched the griffin shit out of her boss without realizing it and she was full of dread? Yeah, I bet 50 snails that part of the timeskip epilogue we didn't see is Lilith bragging about that to her new friends at a tavern over some Apple Blood before meeting the gang at the re-construction site.

Something i noticed on my rewatch from The Owl House is how much Lilith puts people in pedestals and craves for praise and attention constantly, it doesn't matter who the person is as long as she can get praise from them.

Then all clicks when it gets explored of how she was always overlooked by her own mother and Eda got that all attention instead. Lilith unconsciously searchers for someone that can give her the attention she lacked growing up.
