Already large eyes widen slightly as something is shoved towards him.  He looks down wearily, eyeing the small package carefully, then looking back up with confusion.  It was rare that he’d ever received a gift for his birthday.  He wasn’t even the type to celebrate it in the first place.

Hearing the words ring out into the empty space that was his bedroom he blinked slowly before tilting his head, “You... remembered?” Yes, it did come as a surprise, even if they were dating it was something he just didn’t think the blonde would care about.  But quite honestly it gave him something of a warm feeling on the inside knowing he did care.

He glanced back down and hooked his fingers on to the top of the box, pulling it off the reveal a black and purple bracelet, which admittedly he thought was nice, and it matched his uniform nicely.  He pulled it out and carefully slid it onto his wrist before taking a step forward and pecking Kei’s lips, “Thank you for this, I like it.”

     “Sorry for the delay!” She went back to England to spend the holidays with her grandpa and his gift hadn’t arrived in time for her to give it to him before leaving. 

“Merry Christmas in January~” Alice told him with a smile, handing him the wrapped box and hoping he’d like it. She’d seen it online while randomly browsing and simply couldn’t resist getting it for him.

He stared at the blond almost incredulously before he snickered under the comfort of his own hand while wiping off a few crumbs and shrugging his shoulders with another laugh.

“And if I did?  i can just buy you more”  He stated dramatically.

     They’d scheduled to meet early at the train station and she was idly looking over a few messages on her phone when suddenly there were arms around her and a head of golden hair resting on her shoulder.

Turning to look at him a bit, Alice nearly chuckled. This was a different side to the very cool and composed Tsukishima-kun. “Good morning.” She replied, reaching a hand to gently pat his head. “You look so sleepy. Do you want to reschedule? We can do this some other time.”

A friend’s birthday was coming up and she wanted to get her a gift from the local Aquarium, only the way there was a bit complicated for someone new to the town and he said he’d take her there.
