No I have not inserted myself back into the Ahit fandom and immediately made an au about the Conductor having a genetic disorder that made him closer to his feral ancestors rather than the rest of his more civilized siblings after reading some fanfics about DJGrooves and the Conductor. No I would never do that.

.............so basically hes the only one of his siblings that can actually fly and if toppled over his breaking point he can go into a half feral rage. But he can get talked down from.

And later in the story, thanks to his disorder he's not immune to the dreaded Moon Dust that DJGrooves and the rest of the penguins drag into the studio. So he gets MoonDust poisoning and desperately tries to hide it. Hes heard that it's not uncommon to be fatal, but as if hes gonna take a break to enjoy his life. As if he has anywhere to go but the studio itself anyway.

(Might as well put this here but MoonDust poisoning effects only birds and the side effects come in stages where (like rabies most of the time (or so I've heard) when the side effects show, it's too late) The disease will effect the brain and genetic make up of the bird, bringing up old habits and if listened to the Bird's feathers will start falling out and turning blue, starting from a focal point. The more they listen, the more feathers turn blue. But as long as they fight (or find their own unique way of having it paused somehow (Conductor ends up having the mental take over delayed thanks to Snatcher)) the poisoning wouldnt take over their mind, practically turning them into a false knock off of those moon penguins.

But that doesnt mean it still wouldnt kill them if they're not careful, as the infected bird's body/DNA is being morphed. When completely infected the bird's body would be a pale moon like blue, webbed feet/hands, and larger lungs. For swimming. But since MoonPenguins tend to not swin, most dont have them. But remember The Conductor has a genetic disorder. And that's the scary part. Everything else and he would be mostly fine. But his lungs? Luckily he survived that.

In the end Hat Kid manages to grab a time piece and gives it to the Conductor. So now his condition can be switched between MoonOwl and TrainConductor. But if he goes back into movie filming depends entirely on him.
