Just finished spending the weekend with my folks at moonrise!! Was amazing time!

This was my first time ever going to a festival and apart from all the inconveniences it was amazing. This year it was August 12 and 13 (Saturday and Sunday) so Friday night I was frantically getting all my stuff together and barely got any sleep but Saturday morning I drove to Toni’s so we could ride to Ellen’s house together because I was going to beat her face (do her makeup). We planned to meet up at Mike’s house at 9:30am which didn’t really happen due to “over- caking” and forgotten wrist bands lol. We ended up leaving at 10:30am in three cars.

We stopped at a gas station in Baltimore where Mike and I went ham on each other. I sprayed his face with my setting spray (since I had just finished my makeup so he grabbed my makeup box and put it near the sidewalk -___- it’s never a dull moment with Mike lol. We ended up getting to Pimlico Race Course and since Toni and Amin payed for parking already we parked in a different area from Christian’s car. Toni and I dropped tabs in the parking lot but keep in mind… WE WERE ALL FUCKED UP except Tai and Amin. Mike, Christian, and Toni took 2. Peter, Ellen, and I took 1. We met up at the Ferris wheel. Melvin (who was candy flipping) met up with us there and we were just wandering around for the first hour because we didn’t know what to watch or where to go. We went to Lunar stage where we saw TT the Artist and that was when it really hit me because this bitch was talking about “I just wanna get my pussy ate” lmfao. I didn’t give a single fuck though, I was feeling that shit so I started bouncing around and singing along and we see an old dude with his kids listening to TT rapping about how horny she is and me and Peter lost our shit omg xD Later on, I waited for Elohim (who was actually really weird) but I love her song “Sleepy Eyes” and I had a beautiful gay moment with Toni <3 We went to Solar tent with squad and started head banging but Toni was WAY too fucked up to follow along. He kept talking out of his ass instead of dancing and at some point he looked like he was about to faint so I stepped out with him for some air and dude was talking OUT OF HIS ASS xD He kept pointing at girls with fat titties and ass and I couldn’t even be mad because it was too funny. He kept talking about how there’s no gender and that we were one and whole time I just wanted to dance maaaaan -___- Tai came thru to check on us and I told him we were straight so he went back with squad but by that time he lost them .-. So me, Tai and Toni went to fill up water and omg that line was endless. That’s where Toni really wouldn’t stfu lol. I thought I was trippin hard af but THIS DUDE WAS TRIPPIN BALLS. Dude thought we were in an episode of “One Piece” talking about “Nami, we gotta find our friends Luffy, Robin, and Usopp.” (Mike, Ellen, and Christian) I guess I was nami, Tai was Chopper, and Toni was Zoro’s lost ass. We wanted to see Morgan Page but Toni kept running off and we had to keep track of him. He relaxed at Chet Porter who was chill vibes and Toni loved it so much he started to cry tears of joy which made me feel more at ease. We finally met up with squad and Mike was TRPPIN BALLS. My dude was on another planet but less dysfunctional than Toni lol. Christian was quiet af but his eyes were in every direction lol. Ellen was geeking. Peter was chillin and our only source of hope was Amin and Tai because they were sober lol. We were going to go see Migos and everyone was super excited and that was when the announcer with the monotone voice and the resting bitch face said “Due to the weather we are evacuating the facility.” I have never seen so many drugies in distress. At first people weren’t moving but then the storm came thru hard af and everyone was freaking out. People were still rolling and tripping but running around like chickens. I literally saw some dude snort coke during the storm and a girl walking around with her titties out lolol. We ended up deciding to leave which broke my heart because I wanted to see Seven Lions more than anything in the world. Amin helped me and Toni get back to our car because I didn’t know where anything was since I was still trippin a bit. I managed to drive home while still somewhat fucked up. We picked up food at McD’s then were driving for more food but Mike wanted to go into 7-11 to “sit down and order” xD We ended up going to Wendy’s and going back to our hotel which was really nice. We were all at the end of our trip but Mike was still up and at it lol. We finally knocked out. Surprisingly I was able to wake up first. I woke everyone up but Mike wouldn’t wake up so I jumped on him and my dude was still dead xD We got ready and dipped out at 11ish. We got to Moonrise again and chilled under the tents near Celestial stage where the music was amazing. I found the SD squad and took a few pics. At 3pm I was waiting to see Breathe Carolina but Ellen, Mike and Christian stayed behind :/ So Tai, Toni and I went to see them and they were so so so great. They’re specifically my type of music. I was so fucking happy I got to see them and right after was Ookay who was also the shit except we lost Tai D: Toni and I went to see Hippie Sabotage where we found Timmy and he popped some M…… he was GONE after that lol. Carnage was SUPERRRR LIT. We finished up watching Alan Walker’s set which was incredible and then Yellow Claw killed it but we left early to see the BEST set of the night……. PORTER ROBINSON. Toni and I had one of those moments that you never want to end during his set. It was like I was at the right place and time with him and I never wanted it to end. As “gay” as it sounds, I fell in love all over again. Porter Robinson’s whole set spoke to my soul and I cried when he played “Language” at the end :’) We saw Dillstradamus at the very end which was fucking awesome but out of all the sets, Porter Robinson was the one who really wrapped it up for me. In conclusion, I had an amazing time at Moonrise with my wonderful friends and boyfriend. I found a new place I can call home.
