MUTABLEBEAUTY ASTRO NOTE 📝 🌒
I always feel sad when I see Moon-Saturn in someone’s chart. I have it too
It typically shows there is some sort of distance in connection with the mother. The mother was not there emotionally for the native. She was not able to emotionally nurture the child ESPECIALLY if it’s a hard aspect like a square or opposition. For example, if the child is crying and runs to their mother for help, the mother may look down upon the child’s emotions, tell them to toughen up or even just ignore the child’s feelings. There can be many reasons why the mother was not there for the child but regardless it causes the native to have a weird relationship with their emotions and have a distant emotional relationship with their mother.
It does not necessarily mean they hate their mother, but they do not look to her as the first person to make them feel better when they are hurting.
Melancholy falls onto this person occasionally. They bear the weight of their sadness themselves. They cherish people, typically older folks, who were there for them emotionally in ways their biological mother could not be. Solid relationship with a grandparent, usually the grandmother.
These placements had to bear the load of their own emotions and hardened due to this. They deal with negative emotions by themselves. It is difficult for them to be emotionally vulnerable with others and even sometimes themselves and it requires patience to be able to access their deepest vulnerabilities.
We just need a hug and for someone to allow us to feel safe enough that we can outpour what makes us sad inside. It’s a weight to us.
As a child, I often cried over things and when I would run to my mother, she would be exhausted with me like my emotions were a burden to her. I would look for her to defend me when I needed and instead I would become the problem to her. It has caused me to look at her differently since.
I even wonder if with this placement, the mother can be the emotionally immature one. If the native had to nurture their own emotions and the emotions of their mother. Feel free to share
