Yesterday I successfully built a Pepper's Ghost hologram! I'll be filming my rings & prepping them for holographic display for April's museum show in Atlanta and May's @snagmetalsmith trunk show in Asheville so people can "try" one on digitally & see a holographic ring on their finger. But this test yesterday is for March's Giant Steps/@NASA sculpture on the moon exhibition not only to digitally display what my sculpture would look like on the surface of the moon, but also engage the Giant Steps audience on a new artistic level for my work. It'll help me gauge guest reaction, response, etc & tweek it in time for ATL & NC. Overall the goal is to prep my entire body of work in this file format to spearhead & be ready when personal devices & smartphones catch up with holographic technology.
