I started reading "Being an Extra Actor in an Escape Game" (fan translated by boilpoil!) and it's sooooo goooodddddd
It's a BL but very low in terms of romance at the beginning, also (as the name implies) a "horror" story about a background character. The horror isn't much really, since the main theme is mystery-solving and the second theme is streaming (yeah, you read it). The protagonist is the top, which isn't something I see a lot??? And the bottom is a mad dog in "disguise" (he doesn't disguised it, his face is just naturally soft)
I figured out the mystery of the first volume awfully quickly (not mad!!!!) since I'm super used to this kind of book, so seeing the players and viewers going in circles while not thinking about it was quite maddening after chapter 20, but the way it was told and how they (and the protag) reacted really helped me pulled through
If you have read "To be a Heartthrob in a Horror Movie", it's something like that but with a stream and game system instead of a movie one. I also highly recommend this one, since it's one of my favorites too!
So far so good, I finished the volume one (around 34-ish chapters (24, but some are divided into 1.2 and so on), 589 pages) and my hands are once again itching to write
