down boy!
i found a plethora of old moonstrings memes so i'm posting it here before i delete them from my computer
moonstrings in plush form
Hi! I just came to say that i love your art so much and, also, asking if you could do any recopilation of your favorite artworks of Lola, or even of moonstrings too? Have a good day!
DAWW thank you so much, love! also sure, i can do that :D
thank you so much for the ask <3 you have a good day yourself!
these are my more recent drawings. i still really love how this came out. its so beautiful as a standee
this is by far my favorite painting i've ever done. i need to touch up on the lighting but besides that, i love it.
i made this for my streams, and i was attempting to replicate the concept drawings that tracy did. i still think this has great shape language.
this is also by far my favorite moonstrings piece. if i could go back and adjust it, i'd only fix rocky's arm and lola's hair
i also adore how i drew these two goobers
some honorable mentions:
fun fact: this was my first ever painting of lola. i made the canvas absolutely massive so it look me weeks to finish it. i'd like to redraw it one day
this was for when i had my merch shop up. i don't plan on making merch anymore
one of my first ever drawings of lola <3 i remember having a lot of fun drawing this
why is moon strings toxic?
rocky would not be a good boyfriend lets be honest. that plus lola's incredibly naive and trusts pretty much anything that comes out of rocky's mouth
i think a fundamentally toxic couple with burning love for each other is beautifully tragic. that's why it's moonstrings
Don’t know if you had already answered this before but did Rocky and Lola all ways planed to have kids or did it take some convincing?
hello dear!
they both really wanted to have children, but lola needed to feel financially stable first. rocky, to me, seems like a character that would be thrilled to have kids in the moment. i don’t think they’re a life-long commitment in his mind. lola really wanted a baby just because she’d have one with the love of her life: rocky. which is something she’d fantasize about a lot as a young girl. she and rocky wanted to give their potential kids what they didn’t have in their respective childhoods. lola also wanted a child partially because of societal expectations for wives to have children- but luckily for her, rocky made it known to her that he could go without children when lola began having prenatal trouble. rocky had a name for every baby, and his excitement never stopped for their family even if hope was beginning to seem lost for them.
