Skywarp, panicked, teleports to a random location, which just so happens to be in front of Moonracer- who is driving, and runs him over.

A prophecy of the sun, moon and the space between them is what brings Moonracer to Skywarp. The journey they have together to defy it is what makes them fall in love.

Hot chocolate isn’t just a drink humans enjoy having together when its cold out.

HI. I WAS SO HAPPY TO SEE THIS ASK AND WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO ANSWERING IT ALL DAY.

so tbh the idea for this ship came to me a long time ago as an idea for a potential transformers au, not for any canon continuity. but then i brought it up to axolotl parade on discord, and we started discussing it as a possibility for g1 and ive just fallen for it harder.

ngl i think originally i started shipping them just bc they look good together. green and purple,,, reminds me of,,,

y. yeah. anyways-

but yeah the idea was they were best friends and/or a couple before the war but ended up on opposite sides. before anybody ended up on earth, skywarp was convinced moonracer had died in battle at some point and it made him bitter and hurt. turns out she didnt and she and the other girl autobots are still alive on cybertron. and when the autobots and decepticons crashed on earth, everyone on cybertron, including moonracer, assumed they were all dead.

eventually moonracer finds out the truth that he’s alive, and she’s inwardly relieved but can’t exactly celebrate that a decepticon survived.

axo and i had toyed with the idea that skywarp finds out she’s alive via starscream after the episode introducing the girl autobots, but also with the idea that he doesn’t find out until they meet face to face. i think i prefer the latter just bc then he has to come to terms with it in front of her 😈 (axo said this was worse than the skystar reunion lolol)

here’s some of axo’s additions from last year bc theyre much better at exploring the dynamic than me xD

ultimately this is a very doomed by the narrative ship aha but that’s the fun part-

i can make it have a good ending in an au tho uwu

you ever think about how both aura and simon sacrificed themselves to keep their respective little siblings safe. do you think simon learned how to be an older sibling by following aura's example 🥲

athena's efforts to unpack all the new information she has about her mother post-aa5 have got to be complicated by having simon back in her life. of course he's the one providing her with that new info, but she has such a complicated relationship with the memory of metis while i feel like simon puts metis up on a pedestal and remembers her through rose-colored glasses; that makes it difficult for athena to trust everything he says without reservation.
