  He lets out an exasperated sigh,  shaking his head rapidly before motioning between the two of them.  “I’m not becoming like you. Sure, I like fightin'. Sure, I take way too long to get rest. Maybe I overdo it on the Yendy’s meals, but ‘’M usually t’ busy to just stop and cook- which, might I add, I learned to do- and I don’t even drink much if at all anymore!”

    So he ‘accidentally’ lands on and destroys the mayor’s car that he earned with actual     funds and honest work and SUDDENLY he’s in trouble. He was taking out an ayakashi,     for Amaterasu’s sake!

It only takes a moment for Tsukuyomi to relax upon realizing it was her again. Since when had he grown used to her arrivals? Yumigami doesn’t know and, at the moment, can’t bring herself to care. Three times... three times she’d been yanked around by demons, one of which she cared for greatly... But was she doing the right thing, giving in like this?

Her hold on Tsukuyomi tightened, as if afraid he would pull away. Surely, he could sense it right? The change in her already?

     “Tsukuyomi... is it... okay... to submit to the darkness, if it’s meant to      protect? If I can manage to contain it?”

     She’d felt rather than knew that something was wrong, perhaps due to the role they both played, however forced aside he’d been nowadays. It was only by chance she’d arrived when he’d began to awake, in time to utter soothing words as best she could. Even so, he seemed out of sorts, or perhaps unwilling to let her see him in such a state.

     “Tsukuyomi, it’s all right,” she urged, well aware the elder god may well ignore her words entirely. After all, she was so very young in comparison, a child even still among the gods. For a moment she’s at a loss, unsure of what to do before she merely utters the first words that come to mind even if it turned into the ramblings of an ignorant child. “Everyone has bad dreams. I still relive Whopper’s belly so very often... Come now, isn’t that funny? A god so afraid of a fish that she has nightmares of them?”
