A bit belated since I was travelling, but I couldn't let the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter pass without comment.
The Harry Potter books have been a part of my life for far longer than they haven't. I first started reading them around 2000 and since then I've organised photoshoots and fundraisers, flown to Europe twice for themed conventions, been in London for the launch of the last book, attended more midnight screenings than I care to admit, worked the gift shop for a HP exhibit and, yes, bawled my eyes out in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
The fandom has also led me to make some absolutely incredible, long-standing friendships. From folks I met around the campfire in Denmark to my beloved, beloved MoonyMarauders - I wouldn't be the person I am today without you.
And to Jo - thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
Well if they add a 12 Grimmauld Place to Universal, what else is a Padfoot cosplayer gonna do but run away from it?
Still going strong on these photos! I’m coming back from an unofficial hiatus brought on by 6 day work weeks, so I’m looking forward to a bit more spare time to edit photos and sew new costumes. :3

Given that Lily (Kate) and I hail from the southern hemisphere, opportunities to reunite the moonymarauders are few and far between - so we had to make it happen when we visited the US this year! Sadly our original Prongs was stuck in Colorado, so please welcome the amazing Lainey. <3

Oh my gosh I'm so sorry in advance, but we had so much fun with this I can't help but share it with you! I first saw Frozen with my MoonyMarauders after our first shoot at Wizarding World, and by "his thing with the reindeer" we were completely lost. After all, Prongs IS a bit of a fixer upper (but we love him anyway). So this happened. Enjoy!
