Since everyone else is telling such wonderful stories, I have to do it too. 

Buckle up guys. Here’s what Homestuck has meant to me.

 I started the journey about 2 years ago after hearing my cousin and many other people talk about it.

It started off slow and strange with John roaming around his house, but I quickly became absorbed later on and have loved it ever since. 

Though I haven’t been around since the beginning or been extremely active in the fandom, I can say it has helped me through hard times too. When I first began reading, I was going through a few big transitions in life. I had just graduated college and was faced with being an adult, saying goodbye to some friends, and wondering what to do from there. It was also around the time I was going through a shitty breakup. 

I honestly believe reading this comic has played a part in helping me move forward through it all. It kept me preocuppied, made me genuinely laugh(Fruity Rumpus Asshole Factory omfg), made me take the topics of reality and human mortality differently, and helped me meet a few other amazing fans.

 It has given me something to look forward to and be excited about. Something that would usually make me laugh or smile if I needed it. It was so much to read through at the time, but I’m so grateful I did. 

Thank you Hussie. 

And thank all of you, for being amazing.  The comic may be over, but this is one of those stories that will always stick with me. <3
