Oh holy crap... and here I am, really doing tons of research for that giant story I'm going to write. I already have PAGES of notes... and I hope we'll be able to portray everything well. Nazi-Germany is a really touchy topic... and I want everything to be portrayed correctly. Tons and tons of more research. We're even going to visit the towns where the story's going to take place, looking at old documents and everything they can provide us with.
I'm so excited, I've wanted to have a project like that for ages - and now it's finally going to be realized~ I'm so looking forward to it.
It's such a delicate topic, though... German's writing about Nazis and Hitler, I'm well aware of the huge responsibility we carry writing this. But I think we do have the right to do so, using historical facts to make it all as realistic as we possibly can. It won't be pretty, it won't be fluffy and it's certainly going to be a challenge - and it's something I've never seen realized before, at least not in the fandoms that we're going to use.
