I actually forgot I had this beautiful royal purple velvet Robe Coat by Designer Roland Klein. c.1984 (I'm coming across lots of beauties hidden in the stock room!!! Klein was born in France where he studied at the Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture before moving on to stints at Christian Dior + Jean Patou. He moved to London in 1965 where he joined the firm of Marcel Fenez, moved on to head designer + then launched his own label in 1979.
