The world loves food. It always had and always will. The Arabs, in search of tasteful spices, traveled across the globe to discover authentic cuisines and flavors, which they found in abundance in God’s own country of Kerala. This was followed by a bloom of trading of spices across the sea to the Middle East.
As some of the traders started settling down in Kerala and got married to the locals, it led to the origin of a new Malayalam speaking Muslim community, now commonly known as the Moplah; A community that will be known forever for its tastes in food and its authenticity of preparation for its origination in itself is based out of the genuine love for food.
The Moplah Food Fest is serving you the authentic flavors of Kerala with an Arabian twist to it. 1) The well known Thalassery Biriyani, 2) the delicious Mutton Alisa, 3) the everygreen Kozhi Kall Roast and the 4) local favorite Elaneer Payasam are some of the champion dishes we will be serving.
