Sometimes you just can't beat the classics. After owning 3 other Mora Companions for the last 5 years or so, I figured it was high time to get myself a Classic No.1. I think the defining feature of this knife is the handle shape. It is probably one of the most comfortable I've ever felt, and all it is is a simple piece of birch. I don't know if I'll leave the handle in its original state, however. I might strip the paint off and do some pyrography on it, or perhaps I'll knock the handle off altogether after a time and do my own custom one.
