Zoe: Gets reformed and joins the team because the only one she was nice to vouched for her.
Felix: Is easily forgiven and allowed to join the team because the only one he never intentionally insulted vouched for him.
Zoe: Doesn’t have to deal with the consequences of her actions because she was sent to Paris, away from her victims.
Felix: Mostly doesn’t have to deal with the consequences of his actions because he lives in London, not Paris, and he was using multiple disguises. (most civilians would assume he was Akumatized and at the party, He was pretending to be Adrien.)
Zoe: Completely glosses over and downplays the fact that she was bullying people when telling Marinette’s friends her sob story so they will easily forgive her. (Also considering that she was friends with Jessica, I think Zoe was helping villains.)
Felix: Completely glosses over and downplays the fact that he was bullying and harassing People in his debut and left out the fact that he gave a ring away in his play.
Zoe: Despite being réformed, does not help out at all during the New York special because reasons. Plus her existence is a retcon.
Felix: Despite being reformed, does not help out at all during the season 5 finale because reasons. Plus His entire existence is a retcon.
There’s even more parallels between Zoe and Felix. I’m starting to wonder if it’s intended.
I see where you are coming from, but I really think it is just down to all problems being treated as the same. From losing at a videogame tournament, to child abuse, to a broken watch, to substance addiction, to crackpot theories, to terrorism and mass murder, it's all the same in ML.
Felix and Zoé are 'good people' so the problems are instantly fixed in a single episode, just like André, Nathalie, or Gabriel.
