“The EC begins June 1st 2016! There is an open invitation to anyone who would like to participate- come join our collaboration!
WMW has an ongoing project of a monthly EC. Traditionally an Exquisite Corpse is "A collection of words or images collectively assembled." WatchMeWork.com's EC is modeled after this- but with a digital twist!
Every month a group of artists collaborate in a round-robin fashion on a digital piece for twenty days. Every day the piece goes to a new artist, who will be unable to see the full image of what the previous artist contributed. They will have thirty minutes to contribute to the piece, then it is collected by the Administrator and on it goes to the next artist! You may print your section and add traditionally, use image manipulation or graphics software, or anything else that suits your style. This project is open to all skill levels and media, our goal is to have as many collaborators as possible.
There will be a 'Lightning Round' at the end of the project where each contributor, as well as new contributors, will be sent a piece of the image and have ten minutes to add to it. This will keep the round fast-paced as we will have several artists contributing at the same time.
We encourage contributors to stream their addition to the EC, however it is not mandatory. Remember the overall goal of the EC is to have fun and be creative!
Any artists who contributes will be invited to take part in the an artistic competition we are holding in the month of July 2016. If you are interested in the details of this event, please let us know. We will send you info and updates by request only.
