The Weak and the Strong by Bandity : While visiting a planet and potential new ally to Voltron, Lance meets a girl in the market and spends the day with her. What he doesn’t know is that he’s infringing cultural norms and putting both their lives in danger. This fic handles topics of misogyny really well and has impressive world-building.

The Helpless Dark by Bandity: After an explosion, Lance is trapped in the rubble and badly injured, but he ends up helping out a scared little kid. Very sweet, and really cool world-building! A Sound Like Thunder by Bandity : Hunk is stranded on a war-torn planet. His armour is damaged, his leg is injured, and things just keep getting worse.
Bright And Bright by yukisetsu : The paladins are attending a very bright lights display to celebrate a new alliance. It’s too bad Lance has a migraine.
The Reluctant Soldier by Bandity : Lance suffers a head injury, and becomes confused and anxious. The team helps him recover. This one made me tear up.

Beneath the Champagne Sea by SwissArmyKnife : On a diplomatic mission to a planet with sexual dimorphism opposite that of Earth, Lance attracts a little too much attention. The world-building in this fic is mind-blowing. Amazing story.
Rhapsody in Blue by SwissArmyKnife: Each chapter tells a different Lance-centric story, from his struggles to find his place on the team, to him being pushed around by Keith’s Blade friends. Phenomenal writing.
Long Distance by Emerald_Ashes : Pidge helps Lance recharge his phone.
Until the Stars Burn Blue by Emerald_Ashes : Lance forgets his own birthday, but his friends sure don’t. Lance is in for a treat.
Tell Me Something, Anything by wingedflower : Shiro wakes up from a bad nightmare, and Lance offers helpful distraction.
Two Inch Trust by SilverArson: “The Velqi have mastered transporting large amounts of material through small containers”. Or Lance is shrunk down and stuck inside a jar.

Piggyback Voltron series by maychorian: The paladins support each other via occasional piggyback rides. Very cute.
Little Boy Blue by maychorian : Lance is on a diplomatic outing with Coran when a radiation leak has some very unexpected effects. Lance becomes smaller and much, much younger. This fic is phenomenal and so adorable it hurts.
Tight Spaces by Emerald_Ashes: Lance comes to terms with his emerging claustrophobia after a team-bonding exercise goes wrong. Set after the Crystal Venom episode.
Voltron Hug Collection by hufflepirate: A collection of ficlets that end in a variety of paladin hugs. Equal parts fluff, angst and hurt/comfort.
Got Your Back by hufflepirate: Shiro cares for an injured Lance while they are stranded in the wild for the night. Barriers are broken down, and a friendship blooms.
Bruise of Being by astrainclinant: A team-building exercise gone wrong leaves Keith and Lance attached with a mind link. They have a very bad time.
Connect by Bandity: While helping out quarantined aliens in a medical refuge, Keith contracts a very serious sickness.
Munacan’s Disease by SilverArson: Keith is bitten by an angry animal. Things go downhill from there.
Every Waking Hour by Cocopops1995: Someone spikes Lance’s drink, and Keith steps in before things get out of hand. Now a miserable Lance has to deal with insomnia until the drug wears off.
Stating the Obvious by nightwalker: Keith is still coming to terms with his Galra heritage and feels disconnected from the rest of the team. Lance steps in to help. Takes place during s2.
Mad for Lance by Titans_R_Us: Takes place during the s3 lion swap. Lance suffers Blue’s rejection, and Red reaches out to soothe him.

Atlas Cannot Stand by AnaliseGrey: Lance and Keith are captured by the Galra and pressured to reveal Voltron’s secrets. The less Lance talks, the more Keith suffers. This is made even more difficult by the fact that Lance has been drugged. Really intense!

The Silent Stars go By by Bandity: Sequel to O Come Let Us Adore Him. Lance continues to deal with his trauma from Enseldia, even after the war. But his friends and family will always be there for him.
Quick Fix by SerenePhenix : Set immediately after season 2. Lance is feeling blue, and Hunk tries to comfort him.

"That bastard's running out of time," you hear one of the men say.
Your eyesight is impaired. You can't see anything, but you can hear everything crystal clear.
All you know is that you're being taken somewhere. The strange, powerful men knocked you out, probably threw you into a sack, and now you've finally come to while on your journey to kingdom come.
You don't dare make any sudden movements or noises. You're confident that if you tried, you'd be knocked out again, and there was simply no time for that. Your top priority is to calm down, and assess the situation.
'Running out of time.' There was some deadline, obviously. For what, you aren't sure-- but you're 99.9% positive that if it wasn't reached, it was lights out for you. Your mind instantly flew to Jane, with her ability to revive others-- and suddenly took a detour to Davesprite. What if he tried to reset the game, if he was killed?
...You concluded that those were worst-case scenarios, and focused on keeping yourself calm, and trying to see whether any part of you was broken, fractured, or damaged in any way.
There was some pain in your left shoulder, but that could wait. Your jaw, you felt, could very well be dislocated--
"That kid's still out?" Your thoughts were interrupted by the driver-- pilot-- whoever was taking you to your destination.
"Yeah. Knocked him pretty hard, I wouldn't be surprised if he's already dead." The man chuckled.
Alright, you start to panic. Perhaps there was more damage to your head than you thought, and than you were able to assess without being obvious that you were awake.
You just hoped to some higher power that you were going to make it out of this in one piece, and that Al wouldn't put himself in danger in the process.
