I often uninstall and then reinstall this app. I won’t delete again because its a pain in the ass to find everyone again. When I just need a break, I simply remove it from my phone and when I’m ready, I put it back.
I do this its mostly because of the stuff I talked about earlier, but Ill elaborate (and none of you are going to like, this but lots of people don’t like truth). Theres this borderline pretentiousness some people have about how people write posts, whats acceptable and unacceptable in selfies (god help you if you post one with a toilet in the background as if none of us pee and poop), the concept of oversharing as a whole, grammar Nazis, people who think that others are posting things for attention (as if thats not a valid reason to post something in the first place), and on and on.
These nonsense standards and *rules*, and frequent complaints about people breaking the rules just fucking irritate me sometimes and I have to just unplug from here for a while. Could be that I’m following the wrong people, idk. And I get that Im complaining, but Im not complaining about how people write posts or how they spelled something wrong, or used the incorrect form of *there, their, and they’re.* I’m complaining about standards that people hold in a place that shouldn’t ever have any, and never intended to either, are just stupid. And irritating. And lots of other things but let’s just leave it at that.
