Dorian unlocked the door to the mansion, running a hand through his hair as he closed and locked it behind him, resetting the protection glyph he’d set there. He walked into the foyer and let out a soft breath, rolling his shoulders and propping his staff up by the door before making his way further into the house. “Adam? I’m home,” he called in a soft voice.

Matt sighed as he loosened his tie and tossed it across the room. His shoes were left at the door and he walked into the kitchen to set the bag of Chinese takeout on the counter, rolling his shoulders to ease some of the tension there. “You gonna come eat, Adam?” he called out as he started pulling boxes from the bag and setting them around the cupboard.

Dorian opened his eyes at the sound of a baby crying. He let out a soft sigh and slid out of bed, stroking Adam’s hair back gently before he moved to pick up the baby. He cooed softly at Luca and grabbed some swaddling clothes to change him. Once he changed Luca, he got a bottle to feed him and hummed a soft lullaby to him.
