So, I really wanted to post an update on what’s been going on and why it’s taken me so long to get out content. As many of you know, I started a new job towards the end of May and I’ve been in training and will continue to be in training through October. That being said, if you’ve every started somewhere new, it’s Germ City. Most of my class has been sick off and on over the last several weeks, me included. Plus I got sunburned for the first time in like 3-4 years and between my nerves and being nauseous and having cold symptoms on top of that...it has not been a pleasant couple of weeks for me. To top it all off...I allowed myself to get involved into a bit drama within the fandom after the movie news came out. There were some things that were said in frustration, some disappointment at potential movie content, and some serious misunderstandings. I couldn’t bring myself to walk away from my online friend group knowing that a lot of hurt was involved, so I assimilated some new people into my Discord and it’s changed a bit.
I’m an introvert in real life, so all this has been extremely draining for me, but it’s also something that I needed to do to be okay with the situation and to make sure that the people I cared about were all right. It’s still not 100%, but it’s getting better every day. i definitely don’t want to put out any horrible content or stuff I’m not confident in. I appreciate everyone who reads and leaves comments or kudos on what I put out. It wouldn’t be fair to any of you or even to myself to put out crap. That being said, I am going to try to get at least try to get out something every week. I’m not really gonna keep to any practical schedule at this time, just know that none of my stories have been abandoned.
My goal is to finish the last couple chapters of Chasing Starlight...I’ve got two more prompts and then a bonus chapter to make up for my lack of updates. I have gotten the next chapters started for One Moonlit Night, Lessons of Life and Love, and I have been working on getting an update out for Here’s to Us... I know I keep saying this, but I appreciate everyone’s patience while I try to get my life back into working order and really try to get more content out. Thank you for reading my stories, for your comments, kudos, and words of encouragement. You are the best and I hope that you enjoy the next few updates when they come out.
