The Moreland Act – One Possibility for Governor Cuomo to Fix NY Rising’s Problems
New York State’s Moreland Act gives Governor Cuomo broad authority to investigate Housing Trust Fund Corporation’s failed NY Rising program.
The measure gives the Governor broad powers to investigate state departments and institutions, at his own option and with the help of experts, on the theory that he will recommend remedies to the Legislature.
