fortuitous things [morgan & tait]
He was told the second hand furniture store would be a good place to start. The cleaning work had paid better than he expected and another business had hired him to do the same. He didn’t mind it. He went there after hours and worked so there were no people, dealing with money or squiggly things on paper to worry about. He just had to make it look and smell clean. It wasn’t as enjoyable as baking but it would do. It also meant he had a little money for furniture but not much. So here he was. He stepped around a pretty brunette human who smelled a little like fresh clover. It was very pleasant. “Excuse me.”
