“i’m more of a dog person.” it seemed like a kind of cruel aside, and it was only after it had LEFT her that morgan version two realized. morgan was only sharing a LOVE, after all ; and there was nothing wrong with that. brief consideration aside, it didn’t take long for her to clear her throat and add, with easy confidence, “there are cats in outer space, though. things that LOOK like them, anyway. close enough, right?”

“you okay?” she wasn’t QUITE as serious, this time, as she had been the last. then, there’d been a real concerned edge to her tone when she appoached the younger - now, a touch of humor, entertained as she was by the amount of questions ( some quite similar ) that were being THROWN her way. “lots of questions, morgan - which shall i start with?”
