Does Arthur genuinely believe that Merlin is at the tavern that often? Like when you think about Merlin’s personality drinking doesn’t really fit but I’m watching S05e08 Merlin’s off galavanting with the Druid boy and Arthur asks Gaius where he is, Gaius obviously lies, and Arthur says “he’s at the Tavern isn’t he?”. I don’t I just feel like that wouldn’t really be his first thought 🤷🏼♀️
