ok so automattic, the company that owns tumblr, sent their employees a memo saying that like half the team was being moved to other more profitable projects bc tumblr is NOT that (which like… hello we all knew this) so it’s effectively just gonna be run by a skeleton crew. this being the website where we piss on the poor and all, people took the post to mean that tumblr was shutting down yesterday (which is not the case) but it might just start working slower and worse in coming years unless some miracle happens

omg thanks for explaining!! it's not really surprising that they don't want to put much resource towards tumblr since it's long been known it's not a big source of profit. I'll put up with it being slow and bad so long as there's still a website to log on to 😭

got evaluated at work and got only good comments and two unfavorable. i’ve been there less than a month sooo i’m still kinda confused at what my job is entirely but that made me feel like i’m doing it right now! 😭

7. what's the edit you're most proud of?

ahh, well considering i’m not the biggest fan of my creations lol it’s hard to choose. i’d say one of my favorites is the mandalorian gifset i made a while ago, i really like the coloring and how the gifs turned out in general!
