See that’s the thing about friendships. When the people that you love intimately break your heart and you don’t even feel comfortable talking to your flesh and blood about how you feel, you kinda create your own family. Best friends are kinda like siblings you get to choose. They give you the unconditional love that most people aren’t able to. They see through your ups and downs. They can see you in your worst state and always know that you’re still the same person … you’re just going through something. Some people think your soulmate is someone that you have to marry. I think a best friend is like a soulmate, without all the intimacy. They still can make you feel the most loved that you’ve ever felt, the most warmth that you could ever feel, and create memories that you really won’t be able to create with anyone else.
