Letter to My (Future) Love
Dear No One,
I love you. When I think about you, my heart starts beating faster and my stomach gets this weirdly exciting feeling–it feels as if butterfly dragons, happily flapping their wings have taken residence there. You always lift up my spirits when I’m down. You never judge me, but you kindly inform me when I’m wrong. You always make me feel good about myself. You open my eyes to the bigger picture when I’m bogged down with details. You are wise as well as book-smart. You know just what to say--whether I want to hear it or not. You are so amazing. You mean so much to me. You are my best friend, my flirt buddy, my lover, my role model–you are EVERYTHING to me. And no other person, thing, place or feeling can replace you and how I feel about you. We’ve had our rough patches, but we always get back up and try again. Do you know what the definition of insanity is? Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and over again and expecting different results. Our love is insanity. We love hard, we fall hard, we get our little bumps and bruises, we get back up, and then we keep it movin’. We do this same routine over and over again. I guess this means we’re both crazy.
