Edit ▫
i can’t believe; while i was in 2nd grade, a kid. that knows nothing except school and fun and mother’s warmth, school friends, internet games, and innocence lived in the same timeline where some Swedish band was making songs about depression and suffering, drug misuse and pain
i can’t believe that while i was oblivious to the meaning of depression out of innocence, i existed at the same time where this band was making such beautiful music out of sheer pain and suffering
while i was playing minecraft with friends on skype, these people were in the streets, self-harming- drug overdosing, and dying...
then some time 12 years later, i discover them and i fall into the rabbit hole of reading about their disbanding and the passing of obehag (don’t look it up, it is graphic and traumatizing) rip...
this song stuck with me, everytime i listen to it i get the same feeling, its sadness is comforting... it is obvious that the people in deepest pain make the most touching music.. rip apati </3
