whew!! another line-heavy drawing, done like 90% by hand (just some tones added digitally bcos they make me very nervous!! and obviously the color too, haha).

i sketched this one out while closing tonight, in half, then mirrored the sketch digitally, printed it out and then traced over it on the light table... i think there’s some good variation to the line weight and imagery that i wouldn’t have gotten by just mirroring the lineart too, which is good because hoo boy did i consider just doing that many times lmao. 

this’ll be available as a print from my etsy shop soon, so look out for that!!! whoa!!!

cute sharks!!!! im trying to push myself into doing subject matters i wouldn’t normally default to (ie.... cats), which tbh i think im finding even more fun? like its fun to see what sharks look like in my style! yee haw.

In case you didn’t hear - I went to Surtex in New York City this past weekend!! It was a fantastic adventure, and I learned a lot about patterns and trends and art licensing... and learned that I have a lot of hard work ahead of me, it looks like. But it’s hard work I’m tremendously excited for. :) 

Anyways, a big big thank you to Allison Cole for getting me into the show and letting me volunteer to help her out at her booth!! Also a howdy to anyone who’s found me from the show, congrats on making it this far?? Ahahaha. 

Current plans for the future at this very moment include.... going to walk Printsource in August!! And then exhibiting there and at Surtex once I’ve got a good hefty amount of patterns and art to dole out.

Hey cool kids!!! I’m opening up pre-orders for my new Memento Cat shirt design!!! 

Preorders go until May 17th on my etsy; shirts will hopefully ship out around June 1st, barring horrific failure, upon which I’ll probably just order them from Terminus and still get them out to everyone.... either way, you get a sweet shirt out of it, so there’s nothing to lose and only a cool shirt to gain!! finally finished this one - you can see how long this piece took me from the calendar, ahaha. just a young witch in her room (which resembles my office, now that i look at it), working on some ingredients. :^)

This piece is for a Women’s History Month show at Nine Muses Gallery... I took the theme in a very broad way and went with a sort of “Mother Earth” interpretation, since women have been around since literally the dawn of humanity! Ain’t no two ways about that.  ☆

At last!! It's done!! woo hoo

This design is for a limited edition t-shirt, for the Acid Cats's upcoming album, All In A Day's Work ; currently, the only way to get your paws on one is by backing the kickstarter!

As of writing this, they've just passed their goal of $2000, but there's still 9 days to go and if they hit certain higher limits, we'll be able to get it printed and made available even more donors, so chip in and help out!! Outside of donor rewards, it'll most likely only be available at the CD release party itself and in very limited quantities, so if you don't wanna miss out on this design, you better hop to it~!

This design took a fair amount of time from me, but it was at the same time very relaxing to do, and I'm really pleased with how it turned out.
