Hiii still me! I have a fluffy question this time, so we all know that the boys are entertainment bots, especially with the kiddos, so they must have some "touch sensors", so they can actually physically feel warmth, cold etc....including if they are sensitive in some places, sooo, my question is, are the sweet boys...ticklish!? 7w7

YES, ABSOLUTELY!!! ✨💙💛✨

I believe that the Daycare Attendant has the most complex and well developed sensory system out of all the other animatronics at the Mega Pizzaplex, if not the entire franchise.

Because they work with kids, Fazzbear Entertainment wanted Sun and Moon to be able to connect with the children on the sensory level. Having the ability to simply feel would allow the Daycare Attendant to handle the children appropriately: not handling or playing with them to rough or forcefully and being able to physically comfort children by consoling them with hugs, gentle pats on the head and back etc.

This also allows them to care for they children by gauging their temperature, dryness or wetness of skin (helps with determining illness), gently caring for injuries, appropriately cleaning up snot or blood on the child’s body, brushing or braiding hair, lifting, picking up, or carrying the kids, putting them down to sleep for nap time, and much more.

Because of Sun and Moon’s heightened sensory perception I fully believe the Daycare Attendant can feel physical pain as well being susceptible to tickles!

So yes, Sun and Moon are ticklish! And while Sunny will let you tickle him, Moon hand won’t allow you to get close when he knows it’s coming. You would have to catch him off guard. Funny thing is they both laugh like crazy idiots but Moon would definitely fight you more than Sun would.

As for the boys, I make paper flowers for them, a sunflower for Sunny and a daisy for Moony >w<

Ok, I’m going to use this as an excuse to explain why I might have Shandzii’s art style:

Waaaay back a few years ago when I fist got into the Daycare Attendant community, I came across Shandzii’s Ask Sun & Moon videos on YouTube and I absolutely fell in love with them. I have seen many versions of the Daycare Attendant in other people’s styles but the way Shandzii drew Sun and Moon really appealed to me.

Her art style and design of the Daycare Attendant was actually what got me to become apart of the fnaf sb community. Shandzii’s style inspired me greatly, and I was determined to learn to draw the boys in a similar style. I have a talent of mimicking other people’s art styles and incorporating it into my own (I’ve mimicked Mystery Ben’s style for his Mystery Skulls Animated characters before) until it just sorta becomes my style for how I draw those characters.

With patience and LOTS of practice, I have been able to replicate Shandzii’s art style of the Daycare Attendant to a large degree, of course with my own style mixed in as well. I am very happy that people have recognized Shandzii’s style within my own, and I hope I can continue to draw Sun and Moon in this way.

Shandzii herself has moved on to other interests and is no longer drawing and focusing on the Daycare Attendant. However, I strive to carry on the memory of when she was apart of the DCA community and continue parts of her style in my own. I guess you could say I have taken it upon myself to carry on her journey of drawing the Daycare Attendant but really, I just want to draw and have fun.

I hope Shandzii is alright with me mimicking parts of her art style for Sun and Moon, and I hope I can bring you all a bit of happiness with my silly drawings.

Anyways, I’m just rambling…

Thank you Shandzii for attributing your wonderful style and talent to the Daycare Attendant so that others like myself can grow and become inspired to be better artists and apart of wonderful communities. And thank you to all those who enjoy my art of Sun and Moon, I appreciate all of your support!

You art style looks so much like shandzii's /pos + gen

How long did it take for you to master it?

When I think about it, it actually didn’t take me that long. I’m very good at imitating other art styles but I hope I didn’t copy it too much…it was just the style I fell in love with so I decided to try and draw them the way I preferred to see them. It did however take me a while to get confident in drawing them though.

For comparison, here is the fist drawing I ever made of Sun and Moon back in February of 2024:
