Admin Note: I’ve seen mori folk with pink, blue, green, etc. hair, and it always looks great! It’s a bit of a different aesthetic to be sure, but it can definitely work well with mori kei.
Confession:
I've suddenly got back into mori kei after a few years of not really wearing it or being active in the community. Looking through old mori photos takes me back to when I first discovered the fashion many years ago looking through mori blogs for hours on end! It fills me with a sense of warmth and nostalgia and feels like coming home. Although the community doesn't have the same feeling as it did back then I don't really mind. I'm still enjoying keeping my own little mori blog, it's like a safe comforting place and for me and finding peace and comfort in being alone is something I associate with the mori lifestyle. I think it also helped me get out of a bit of a depressive episode as it reminds me to find happiness in the small things.
Admin’s note: This was too long for the regular confession format, so I am posting it here as is.
