Having a friend who is possessed by an ancient spirit is one thing. Having two friends who are possessed by ancient spirits is a whole other thing. especially when the other spirit tried to kill you in the past and then suddenly reformed and decided to help you. Calling it reformed might be a stretch. it just meant you were not his current target, but everyone else was still free game. Tristan has complicated thoughts about Bakura. he does trust him to a certain degree since not only did he help him but also helped him to get Mokuba to safety. It is just hard to forget your own mortality and how vulnerable you really are when you hang around not only a powerful spirit but also someone who doesn't care about other mortals' lives.
