Gloria and Jesus having their early morning tête-a-tête. On my mother’s birthday in 2005, we had a fufu party. Gloria and I ate from the same bowl. She was 7 months pregnant. That night, I had severe food poisoning. I thought I was going to die. It tuned out the cassava used for the food was a poisonous variety. Everybody who ate some of that food had food poisoning- except Gloria. When Dr. Durban heard the story whilst treating me, he took one look at my healthy, sound, 7 month old pregnant wife and said: “This is a miracle.. if you’d had this level of food poisoning, both you and the baby could have died easily.” We don’t have answers for all the smart questions people ask about God but we have absolutely no doubt that He exists and loves us very much.
