              “ How was it? It’s a pretty nice book, isn’t it?”

He was at a loss of words, but that was not new, she always had that effect on him. His expression remained gentle though, truth was, that Kagami hoped for her to enjoy the book, Asami had a pretty amazing taste for literature and all the books she had recommended him were up to the expectation. Thus, it was only normal for him to ache to find something that she could enjoy. 

            “I used to read it a lot when I was young.”

Asami was done washing the dishes, cleaning the kitchen and was now looking for her husband. A wide smile appeared on her expression when she did so, and the Uchiha woman stood behind him on the chair, leaning down to kiss his earlobe. "Kagami, Shisui is staying at my sister's, and we'll be all alone for the entire weekend..." She whispered suggestively, massaging his shoulders.

“Hmm~ will we?” He relaxed his body, enjoying the comfortable massage as he leaned his back against his wife. “I’ve heard amazing remarks about a new restaurant, perhaps you’d fancy going there, and after all you’re always doing all the work.” And the man felt guilty for that, but between dealing with his clan and with the Hokage there wasn’t much time left for him to spend with his family.

“But I might as well add that we do have a cozy home and a nice and new bed.” Smooth Kagami, Smooth.

When he closed his eyes, Asami took out two flower crowns, placing one upon herself while reaching up on the tip of her toes, she placed the other upon Kagami’s curls. “Open them now.” She couldn’t stop giggling.

There was something being placed upon his head and he could feel it perfectly. What was it? He wondered before he opened his eyes to see Asami wearing a crown made out one of his favorite flowers. 

Beautiful.

Shortly after he realized that there was one on his head too. "For me? I don't know what they will say." And by 'they' he meant the fellow members of his clan. "But it looks wonderful on you."

"That would be cheating, Kagami. Now, close your eyes!" Asami's grin only widened at that, excitement evident everywhere on her face.

"It is not if you don’t tell me…" But he closed his eyes anyways, it was lovely how young Asami made him feel.

She is so excited over this because she's not sure how Kagami will react but she approaches her boyfriend, holding something in her hands which are hidden behind her back out of sight. There is a cute little grin on her face, childish even, and she giggles, waiting for him to comment something.

The man turns, it had to be her. He could feel her chakra from a broad ratio. However, there was something that intrigued him enough to not even greet her, even if he eagerly wanted.

One of her black brows rose as he looked at her hands. “Do I need to use my Sharingan?” Nothing could be hidden to his eyes but Kagami didn’t activate it, he waited for her to explain him what was she holding so carefully between her hands.

[鏡] —-Afternoon already and the sun painted the street with the beautiful shades of red, orange and yellow. The man stood there placing his back against a wooden fence as he waited for a woman, the woman who was placed by him deeply in his heart, but she didn’t know. Kagami verified each angle and wrinkle of his deep blue kimono, it had to look perfect the situation deserved it.

‘What would she think of me?’ The Uchiha wondered, he was insecure, who would fall for such an old man, he wasn’t even interesting and plus, dealing with women wasn’t his best nor strongest trait. He was just Uchiha Kagami, a single man who enjoyed buying extravagant items, who played with children and tried to take care of his village and his clan. Nothing less, nothing more.

And with a sigh he attempted to relive his worry, this was meant to be a wonderful time with her, he had to bring the brightest of his smiles.

                                                                           ……Tap tap tap…..

It was her; the man could sense her chakra from anywhere. “You’re early, Asami.”
