The old “Ray in Austin/Ray in New Orleans/Ray in Exile” blog that ran on The Moronosphere from 2004-2010 is finally gone from the Internet. No trace in Google. Apparently the guy who owned the domain and the servers died with all the passwords a couple years ago.
The last snapshot in the Wayback Machine is from July 2008. Right after my marriage imploded, right after I purged my still-secret-girlfriend-who-is-now-my-most-recent-ex from the comments, right before Hurricane Gustav and fighting through lawyers over where my children will be raised, when everything was still pretty much about the recently deceased Professor, and when I had only ever had one essay published and still didn’t know how to write.
