Everyone imagines Aftran as a Human hanging out with Cassie, but imagine Cassie morphing Yeerk to go for a swim with Aftran and the other members of the YPM in their natural state.
I like the idea of Cassie doing diplomacy this way. She'll just have to learn a few alien languages. Or get a translation chip.
Wait! Aftran or another Yeerk could probably dump the language skills into Cassie's brain before she morphs!
