Did the magic blood drug!
In short: there's been developments.
We've been to the Cradle, gone into a habitat pyramid, nearly fumbled clearing it out, gone back in, THEN clearing it, planted a crew member, left in a hurry, and gone back to the baronies.
The tie breaker match got interrupted by some rude interlopers, which our personal Horus harlequin Nova previously were part of. Her winning the champion title garnered more attention than she could redirect so there we were faced with an inquisition force from the Ordo Xenoglossaria. With very short notice from Nova, Haxxus and Morph joined Lenio and Siegfried on the snowy field.
With mechs partially sliced asunder and blood spilt, our group held strong and withstood the assault that was ultimately cut short by House Order forces. Dumb luck made sure Haxxus got the eaves on the remaining unfriendly reporting to their order: none of the marks eliminated.
Well outside of the Baronies, on board the Freebee Honey, Nova could divulge more about the motivations, the Stygos Grammaton and their substances utilized in their prophetic séance, with a standing offer to Morph to use from her own supply. A life time commitment with something that'll alter almost everything physically and mentally. A heavy toll for sure.
Meanwhile, a stowaway has made himself cozy in the captain's quarters.
Pelegon of the Stone, our first nemesis from the first mission, has continuously been dunked on and now that he's participating in the Pankration, he might get dunked on again.
Curtesy group's meme fixer.
The group's memelord (not me) takes his responsibility very seriously.
Netted a zero wins placement in the Pankration 🙇🏻
Last round of the warlock class. Morph vs. shipmate Nova. Sleepwalker vs. Patches.
Again with the glaring weakness to burn and really poor rolls puts this win in the comically large pockets of Nova, whomst takes the whole cake. A 3 for 3 win.
At least it was a fire show (plasma errywhere).
2 of the 3 matches are now are now done. 2nd match went a lot better but still a loss.
Morph ate dirt this round. Absolutely immolated. Like watching a car battery spontanously combust.
