“What do you mean I can’t bring my dog in the building?” The trip to the library only started as a whim, but when Hawke was denied entry to it, his competitiveness turned it into a challenge, a petty challenge, but a challenge nonetheless.
“Look at him, he’s practically a baby! Are you suggesting I abandon a baby outside in the freezing cold?” He brought the puppy towards the poor library employee’s face who probably didn’t ask for this in the holiday season. “Look at him!”
