@morrisxn02 where: homecoming when: middle of the night having refilled his cup with sparkeling water (this shit was addictive he was realizing), leaky took it upon himself to wander around the floor, stopping to chat with a few of his classmates, but really he had no agenda. he wasn't sure where sassa was at the moment, so he hoped his meandering ran him back into her, but he was sure she was just better at socializing than he was. as he turned toward the corner of the dance floor near the exit, he spotted his roommate, delighted by his presence. leaky had been quite absent from the room so far this semester - classes and practice quite literally kicking his ass - so he figured they were long overdue for a catch-up. "eddie! hey man, glad to see you made it out." he smiles, reaching out to dab him up. "you havin' a good night? sorry i've been so absent from the room." he apologizes with a bright smile. "everything goin' alright so far?"

@morrisxn02 where: the library when: within the first week back at school

it might be a little too early in the semester to already be freaking about what's to come, but after the summer they just had, alethea isn't sure how else to occupy their time. and besides, there's nothing wrong with getting a jump start on the reading for her french lit class right? books in hand she finds the least crowded (meaning there was only one person at it) table, and just as she slides into the seat, she recognizes eddie. with a moment of hesitation, they pluck a bit of courage to move to a seat closer to him. "hey." she smiles softly, keeping her voice low, "i'm honestly surprised to see so many students in here the first week."

everyone always thought that just because leaky was sober, meant he couldn't have a good time. but he couldn't ignore a good beat. even in this, quite honestly incredibly stressful night, he was using the excuse to just let go a little bit. not as much as his classmates it seemed, but to each their own right? well...for the time being. "aight, i ain't ever been to a rave, but i see the hype." he yelled to eddie next to him giving them a bright smile. "this your culture bro? you havin' a good time?" he nudges him, wanting to see his roommate at least crack a smile.
